My journey into vaping

Day 171: Ejuice is as toxic as washing up liquid

News from ECITA about the toxicity of nicotine containing ejuice prompts one response from vapers. A resounding “We told you so!” I’m pretty much dead on my feet at the moment, so have a link to Liberty Flights’ blog about it.

I hated this poster from my school days. Loathed it in fact. It made me want a cigarette in sheer spite. Do the terrible trio still see themselves as Supermen against the enemy?  Can we ditch the confirmation bias against nicotine and do some real research now please? Thank you.

In other news Nicorette scores a whopping own goal going on the offensive against vaping.

  1. Yessss all this “health propaganda” puts the urge in me to have an nice steak ( the real good ones with lots of fat in the muscle) with an side dish of baked potatoes and double cream followed by an single malt whose name i can not pronounce and an heavy cuban cigar… short bread to fill up any remaining ‘holes” the steak and potatoes did not quite fill out!

    • Bunnahabhain or Laphroiag after a steak please. And if you add some veggies (with a butter glaze) and some nice red wine or real beer in my opinion that’s a far healthier meal than pasta, pasta and more pasta. A little cranachan before the shortbread for a nice counterpoint (I make both myself) I’ll sub in a really good vape for the cigar though you’re welcome to whatever you like. Your place or mine?

  2. I have an wood stove so the soothy air may put too much strain on the sensibilities of the health crowd… on the other hand one can make wonderfull short breath in an wood stove… Alternatively I could be challenged to break open one of my few real good Invalid port gold label bottles to go with the short bread… have to check on the single malt, an friend of mine imports from some obscure source you do not get on the open market, there is the taste of honey in it and honey never comes close to the cask.
